MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — A federal fugitive from Pennsylvania is now in custody. Morgantown Police apprehended 29 year old Stephen Bray on Tuesday after responding to a report of suspicious activity on Walnut Street.
Bray was taken into custody where he attacked two officers in an attempt to keep them from locating heroine hidden on his body.
Officials say he slammed an officer against a wall as well as fighting with officers while attempting to flush a package of heroine down a toilet in the detention area.
Officers found 12 bindles of heroine on the floor and an additional 35 bindles of heroine in a sewer pipe.
Bray is currently being held in the north Central Regional Jail without bond.
