The wreck happened at around 11:50 a.m. in the southbound lanes near the 64 mile marker between Flatwoods and Sutton.

Deputies said the driver lost control and the car overturned at least three times ending up in the northbound lanes. Both the woman and man were thrown from the vehicle. The woman was pronounced dead at the scene and the man is in critical condition.
