Woman dead in Oak Hill crash

OAK HILL, W.Va — Alcohol is believed to have been a factor in a deadly accident that claimed the life of a Fairmont woman in Fayette County. 

Oak Hill Police say the crash happened a little before 1 a.m. Monday along U.S. Route 19.  Police say the victim was headed south when she hit the pylon on the Main Street bridge crossing the highway.  No other cars were involved in the crash.

The name of the victim hasn’t been released.  The cause of the crash has not been determined.
