BECKLEY, W.Va. — An employee at Wood Forest Bank, located inside the Beckley Wal-Mart, was charged this weekend with making several bomb threats at the store this month.

Travis Lee Persinger, 26, of Fayetteville, was being held in the Southern Regional Jail Saturday on three charges for the false threats.  Beckley Police, though, claimed Persinger had made a total of five threats since Sept. 11 which prompted store evacuations each time.

Investigators said they think Persinger made the threats because he was “bored” and wanted to get out of work.

In addition to possible prison time for each of the three charges if convicted, Persinger could also be forced to pay fines and restitution to cover the store’s lost business following the threats.

I believe this Guy was Confessed, Mentally , or whatever his case was.
His issues should not had affected the Public nor innocent people.
Was this a Cry for Help? Attention?
He should either be in a Mental facility or Jail, maybe both in my opinion.

So sad for him and his family :( he always seemed nice to me. Does anyone know if he is out on bail or anything?

I bank there and I'm not surprised...known him his entire life he has serious mental health issues...compulsively lies...comes from a very Christian family and he's very effeminate...I think he's never been able to reconcile and deal with his sexuality...needs obvious help.

Well he won't be bored if he lands in jail will he? Not if the portrayal of prison life on TV and in movies is real that is.
