Heya great website! Does running a blog like this require a large amount
of work? I've absolutely no knowledge of coding however I had been hoping to
start my own blog soon. Anyhow, should you have any
ideas or techniques for new blog owners please share.
I know this is off topic but I simply wanted to ask. Many thanks!

long term contract or not , if a coach gets an opportunity to move up, he will and should be allowed to do so ... if Patterson's profile were higher, i'd think that he would be a good fit at USC ... but it's Cali and they all want "superstars" out there ... enjoy coach Pattersons defenses at WVU while you can ... he will be given an opportunity to be a HC ... the only thing that might slow his coaching progression is the fact the emphasis on play has swung to offense from defense , a pendulum that will never stop.

WVU has won 3 games principally on their defensive efforts. Coach Keith Patterson has done an excellent job in resurrecting last year’s unit. Major schools will recognize what he has accomplished in only one year and come calling. Oliver Luck and the University need to lock down Coach Patterson with a long-term contract. He's a quality person and coach as well as an asset to the program.

Woke up 4 hours early today to watch the game praying to just see improvement. I would've accepted a loss and honestly I expected one. But I think today we learned who our leaders were. Learned who to look to when our backs were to the wall. I figured we would lose I admit it. I actually remember saying something along the lines of, "We're gonna get embarrassed." I just wanted to see improvement of any sort. What I did see was pure heart and the will to leave everything out on the field. That's what Trickett showed me. That's what our entire defense showed me. On the goal line stand a camera panned around and caught Rowell getting the Defense ready and that's when I knew we were gonna be ok. Do I think were gonna win out? No, but I've been wrong before. What I do know is as long as tricketts ok were gonna get every ounce of what he's got, and that's all anyone can ask. Let's go...Mountaineers.

If the O-line doesn't step up we will need all three qb's and maybe three more. Overall players and staff stepping up and I believe Dana will eventually correct special teams issue. Say what you will but Dana isn't just accepting things the way they are, he is willing to make changes. Good job today getting the win, continue growing and looking forward to more wins, farewell for today and as always.... Stand and hail the mountaineers

as usual bryan , you're dead wrong AGAIN ! !
the O line , like al the WVU units missed some assignments , but they performed
very well . . .what is missing is the O guru
coming up with a set of play options to defeat
the "al groh shuffle" when employed by the
opponent . . .(I can hear your DUH from here) . . .that clogs the running lanes from tackle to tackle . . .to force the D to try and penetrate running the spread you need a
good short pass option. . .using sims or clay on the "wing" just outside the tackle , gets
them isolated on a linebacker . . .if the wides jet downfield , one broken tackle is good for 20 . . .if they get stopped it's still 4-5 yards . .
once the D shifts for this you hand off to the back going short side , maybe even the old Famous Amos Zereoue statue of liberty . . .
anything to get the run game going . . .
Gooo Mountaineeerrrsss ! ! !

Great game Mountaineers !!! Just shows how poor a coach we have in "former" defensive coord. and current special teams coach Joe Deforest !!!!

DONT EVER BET AGAINST THE MOUNTAINEERS.........JUST ASK OKLAHOMA, GEORGIA TECH, GEORGIA AND OKLAHOMA STATE........................

September 28, 2013 at 5:12 pm |
disappointed that you clipped my rejoinder short , but life goes on . . .
play of the game ? I expect and love the play of the D , BUT I really loved it when
Squirt stretched full out to pull in that 3rd down pass . . .Squirt gets my big S (superman) shirt to wear for this week . . .

They are eating a big crow, big win, tough effort. What are the fire holderson, let's panic crowd thinking? Still a lot of mental errors but this defense is tough and trickett is as tough as his marine father.
September 28, 2013 at 5:09 pm |
I think i'm gonna like these gold unis . . .and if it takes 3 Mounties to hold Trickett upright in the backfield , so be it . . .I see the FORD as the designated water boy now . . .hope that kid from Baltimore follows thru on his commitment . . .a year under trickett and back to a game we know and love so well . . .
a QB who can run and throw . . .

Where's William??? I can't wait to see how he come's up with some crap today!

Looking forward to hearing a lot of fair weather so called WVU fans and commentators eat their words of criticism of our team and coach this upcoming week.
Well, I wouldn't get too excited yet. They definitely played better but also sustained some injuries, hopefully nothing that will keep them out for the next game.
The defense played a great game today. And Trickett definitely EARNED the right to be starting QB! Tough, gutsy guy who showed he is up to the challenge. The O line, however, remains very weak. And I STILL don't like Holgersen and his coaching staff - they made some really stupid play calls, esp. w/not running the ball more when we needed to burn time.
