One person killed in Fayette County crash

PAX, W.Va — One person is dead and another is injured after a wreck in Fayette County.

Dispatchers said the accident happened just before 9 p.m. Wednesday near the Pax area on a road just off of Paint Creek Road.

Two trucks reportedly collided. The cause is unknown at this time.

West Virginia State Police is investigating.
