Man arrested in Huntington shooting

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. — A Huntington man has been arrested in connection with a shooting last week at an apartment on 11th Avenue.

Police arrested Cantrell D. Foreman, 21, Friday and charged him with one count of attempted murder in the shooting of Christopher Jones.

Police said Jones, 25, was shot several times while in bed in the early morning hours of October 10. A young child was also in the room during the shooting, but was not hurt.

Jones is recovering in the hospital.
