One killed in Nicholas County accident

SUMMERSVILLE, W.Va. — An early Thursday morning accident on Route 41 claimed the life of a Nicholas County man.

Deputies with the Nicholas County Sheriff’s Department said Jeremy Gilles, 23, of Craigsville, was killed when his vehicle, a Dodge Diesel, rolled over near Nile Road.

The accident happened shortly after 1 a.m. Thursday.

The investigation was continuing.
