Very bad team no wvu pride

This team means so much to the state of WVa. I can't believe that the school administration would let both major programs fall into obscurity. The cost of letting this go on is much greater in the long term. It' time to lick their wounds, bite the bullet, and make the changes we all know need to be made.
It's not fair to the fans and the state. Way too much pride in the fan base. We should never settle for being a doormat for the majority of the Big 12 conference teams. The team means way too much to the state and Mountaineer nation.

The radio announcers are always going to spin the thing and tell you everything is OK, rebuilding year, new conference...etc,
Its what they do....

You got that right. Bet that it is hard to set there thinking one thing and saying another. Guess it comes down to a pay check or direct deposit. I thought the AD had said he wanted to take the program to another level. I must have misunderstood. Thought he was thinking higher not lower

Listened to the after game show on the radio. Announcers were saying we are in a tougher conference. True but what about losing to Syracuse bad in the bowl game and Md beat us bad too. These were teams we beat consistantly.
They also said Holgy and assistant coaches buyouts were to high for them to be let go. My question is why would a AD sign a inexperienced head coach and give him such a contract?
I think I will answer my own question. Because the AD had no experience at his job either.

This week Dana "The Man in Black" Holgorsen was number six (6) on the Coaches Hot Seat.
After today, I am sure he will move up a notch or two...

No matter how the season turns out, Luck will not make a change. He will give Holgerson another year. After that if Luck is still AD at WVU he will be forced to change.

AT least the Alabama games not in the conference! Did i just say that lol. Oh Well can't wait til next year. New Start, after the Alabama game. Holy Crap, thanks for the reminder pgmountaineer, it just keeps getting better doesn't it. Wake me up when this nightmare is over, is it the night before we play Pitt to go the National Championship game, or has the last few years just been a mirage. Is that Pat and Steve with Rich on the sidelines? Back to life and Reality! I can always watch old game films. Maybe I can send Dana a Scouting Report on what an offense looks like!

BTW, Oliver will have no choice at the end of the season. He will have to make a change.
I would bet he's looking at candidates already.
I'm not saying he wants to do it, but he will have to.

Thats just it, everyone remembers that one 70 point game! LOL, a season, not one game! Anyone can have one great game! How about consistent great seasons. We haven't had that the last two years. Yup different conference no patsies, cause we are the patsies!!

JB, you just reminded me, we play Alabama opening weekend next year. OMG! Maybe we could claim we have a conflict and take them of the schedule This is getting real ugly.

I say let him evaluate the standards himself. Rich Rod that is the second time around may not be so bad! Just a lovers spat and the lovers he had are gone. Bring back the passion, every great coach can be an horses butt, and he was, but at least we won. Dana is at the wrong school, he can't handle his beer LOL!
Well, tonight as I watch an ACC top 5 showdown,, I'll be saying,, WVU scored 70+ on that team in the Orange Bowl...

I tuned in late in the third or early in the fourth when we were leading. From the point when I started watching, I think we made one first down and the punter wore out the ball. Oh goodness, our OL has issues. Texas Tech pushed our guys all over the field. Where is the strength coach? Where is the OL coach? Where is the head coach that can't excite his team to play??? No urgency at all from our players on the field! Look as the passion TT had on the field! The team has no leader on or off the field period. I would be benching every player for the non effort late in the game.
