Watch: Adrian finds his 3-point stroke in exhibition

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — Nathan Adrian, who played his high school basketball only a few miles away from the WVU Coliseum, sank 6-of-10 from 3-point range as West Virginia downed Fairmont State 89-70 in an exhibition.

The former Morgantown High standout, a 6-foot-9 freshman whose outside shooting could be valuable this season, appeared in the starting lineup and scored 21 points as the Mountaineers overcame a depleted bench.

“With Terry (Henderson) out and Remi (Dibo) out, I felt I needed to shoot a little more—but I didn’t mind that,” Adrian joked.
