Two dead in Harrison County collision

SALEM, W.VA.– Two men are dead following a crash on U.S. Route 50 in Harrison County.

Harrison County Sheriff’s Department deputies say both men in a Subaru Forester were killed Wednesday evening near Salem.  According to police, a pickup truck heading the opposite direction lost control, went into the median, came back out into the westbound lane, hit the guardrail then crossed the median and collided with the Forester.

The men killed in the collision were ages 39, of Elgon and 26 of Aurora. Their names have not yet been released.

The investigation into the crash continues.
