MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — The MetroNews team of photographers and videographers takes its final look at the Mountaineers’ 2013 season following WVU’s triple-overtime loss to Iowa State.
I see four Seniors from this team that have a shot at making at the level: Charles Sims, Shaq Rowell, Darwin Cook, and Will Clarke.
I also see a team with talent that can built on next year.
The OL will have the most change, for it needs the biggest upgrade. The next big step will be improve the play of the DBs.
The big question going into the 2014 Season is who will be the Starting and Back-up QBs. Can Trickett win the Starting position, or will he lose out to William Crest or perhaps the JUCO QB, if he signs with WVU.
I doubt that many fans realized that WVU had 4-QBs on its roster this season, and if Holgorsen gets his wish there will be 3 additional QBs on the roster in 2014. Gregory McPherson (Princeton, WV) was the 4th QB in 2013. The 3rd NEW QB in 2014 could be either Jarrod Kellar (Lincoln HS, WV) or Austin Hensley (Hurricane, WV).
