ELKINS, W.Va. — Bond was set at $150,000 cash only for the Randolph County man who allegedly had sex with an 11-year-old girl twice.

State Police arrested Jared Michael Iseli, 20, of Beverly, earlier this week, and charged him with two counts of sexual assault.

The girl’s parents told troopers she had snuck out of their home early Sunday to meet a man, later identified as Iseli, whose number was found on the girl’s phone.

Iseli allegedly had sex with her at his home that day and, previously, on Nov. 29.

State Police said Iseli told them he had met the girl at a park in Elkins and kept in contact with her through Facebook and text messages.  Iseli said the girl told him she was 13-years-old.

WVbred, I do have a daughter and also 5 sisters. Believe me if I had sneaked out at the age of 11 my daddy would have beat the hell out of me and the man also. In my day, the only reason you sneaked out and meet a man was better be to get married. My parents taught me right from wrong and I have a daughter who also knows right from wrong. If it was may daughter after of I took her to the doctor to make sure she wasn't pregnant I get her the pill. Because I don't want to raise my grandchild. Then she would probably not be allowed to let the house along for a very long time. If he manipulated the situation why did she lie to him, the man is a sicko and needs to be locked away for life. But we as parents need to take away the internet and cell phones and actually talk to our kids not once in a while but every day.

Because if she had been 13 that would have made it ok???? Geez, what a sicko and WV Worker--stop blaming the victim. Do you have a daughter? How would you feel if that were your daughter? She's 11 years old for pete's sake!! He's the adult. He likely manipulated the situation. That's how sexual predators work. I don't care if she threw herself at him naked, she's only 11, he should have no problem saying "no," because she's a child!! Even if she lied, that still doesn't excuse his behavior. A 20 year old wanting to have sex with a 13 year old is sick! She obviously has some problems, but she needs help, not punishment. That attitude is exactly why women don't report rape.

Fixing him wouldn't stop him from assualting another girl. Hopefully his cell mates will "bond" with him. Yes, she needs help because she will sneak out again

If the girl lied she is as guilty. Sometime in at a work farm may help this girl learn a lesson. There are consequences for her actions also. The man is a low live and needs to be fixed so no other child can be hurt by him. But please don't get upset when I said the girl had a hand in this also, she left her home knowing it was wrong. This was not a 4, 5. or 6 year hurt but a girl who knew right from wrong. Men who do this to children any child should be taken to the hospital when found guilty and fixed so they will never hurt another child because if they go to jail 9 out of 10 will do it again. We see their faces in the news everyday. This may seem harsh punishment but maybe just maybe the next one will think before hurting a child.
