Postgame: Billy Seals hopes Huntington will be back

WHEELING, W.Va. — What was Huntington coach Billy Seals’ reaction to a 9-7 loss against Martinsburg in the Class AAA state title game?

“We’re hoping this is a trip we can make again,” he said.

The Highlanders (13-1) had a late-game opportunity to end Martinsburg’s dynasty but couldn’t move into field-goal range.

“You look at what they’ve done to everybody throughout the year—nobody’s played (Martinsburg) as good as we have,” Seals said.
