Tire truck fire causes traffic problems

CHARLESTON, W.Va. — Early afternoon northbound traffic was slowed on busy Interstate 77 in Charleston Tuesday when a tractor trailer carrying tires caught on fire.

The blaze reported at about 1:30 p.m. closed all northbound lanes near the Kanawha Boulevard exit. Traffic was routed off the interstate through Charleston.

All lanes had been reopened by 4 p.m.
