Man killed in Harrison County crash

CLARKSBURG, W.Va. — A man was killed and a woman critically injured following a t-bone collision Tuesday evening on U.S. Route 50 in Harrison County.

Police said the victim was attempting to cross U.S. Route 50 from Fire Access Road at just before 5 p.m. when he slammed into the side of an approaching motorist.

The crossing driver was pronounced dead at United Hospital Center. Police said a woman in the vehicle was in critical condition Tuesday night at Ruby Memorial Hospital. The other driver was not seriously injured.
