Missing Bluefield man found

ANAWALT, W.Va. — A Bluefield man who was reported missing when he did not return home from work on Monday night was found early Wednesday morning.

State Police said a co-worker located Anthony Scott Testerman, 55, along Route 161 in the Anawalt area of McDowell County.  Testerman’s truck had earlier been found about four miles away on a rural road near Eckman.

Troopers said Testerman claimed he had gotten “disoriented” on his way home from his job at a coal prep plant in Eckman.  He was last seen leaving there at 7 p.m. Monday.

Several law enforcement agencies were part of the search for Testerman who was taken to Bluefield Regional Medical Center on Wednesday for a health evaluation.
