Logan County woman dies in Kentucky crash

SOUTH WILLIAMSON, Ky. — A Logan County woman was killed Thursday morning in a vehicle accident in Pike County, Ky.

Kentucky State Police identified the victim as Lillian Raines, 50, of Chapmanville.

Raines was driving on U.S. Route 119 at just after 7 a.m. when she lost control of her car and struck a bridge twice. The car then went across the center lineĀ and collided with an oncoming vehicle.

Raines was pronounced dead at a Kentucky hospital.
