Fatal fire under investigation in Logan County

 

The state Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating the deadly blaze that took place Monday near Chapmanville in Logan County.

 

CHAPMANVILLE, W.Va. — The state Fire Marshal’s Office said a 90-year-old woman died Monday night in a mobile home fire in Logan County.

 

Investigators said Claire Dingess could not make it out of her mobile home on Striker Fork near Chapmanville.

 

State fire marshals said Tuesday afternoon the fire wa was undetermined but appears accidental.
