CLARKSBURG, W.Va. — Five Clarksburg residents face prison time after they entered plea agreements for their role in the theft of firearms from the Stonewood Police Department in August 2013.

The U.S. Attorney’s Office said Wednesday Jonathan Carpenter, 25, and Kristopher Cox, 33 each pleaded guilty to being a felon in possession of a firearm.  Michell McKinney, 29, John Lynch, 43, and Denaul Dickerson, 26, all pleaded guilty to a charge of possession of firearms by an unlawful drug user/addict.

The group broke into the evidence locker at the police department August 26 and stole several guns.
