Huntington moves up in week three of the MetroNews Power Index

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — It was Huntington jumping into the top five of the MetroNews Power Index for boys basketball in week number three, released on Wednesday. The No. 5 Highlanders (7-0) within the past week picked up a win over previously unbeaten Capital.

Washington (10-0) stays No. 1, followed by undefeated Musselman (8-0) at No. 2. Parkersburg South (10-0) stays at No. 3 following a key win within the past week over Wheeling Park. Hedgesville (8-2), despite a loss to Washington, stays at No. 4.

Robert C. Byrd (10-0) is the highest Class AA team at No. 7. St. Joseph Central is the highest Class A team, coming in at No. 17.
