Armstrong another University football standout to D-I program

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — 6-foot-1, 165 pound receiver/defensive back Jack Armstrong out of University High has pledged to play college football at William & Mary. He joins teammate, 6-foot-3, 210 pound tight end/defensive end Tony Richardson, to play at the FCS level.

Richardson’s commitment came earlier this month to Virginia Military Institute – it was Armstong making his commitment this past weekend with William & Mary.

University’s Tony Richardson will play college football at VMI.

VMI this past season went 2-10 out of the Big South Conference. William & Mary finished the year with a 7-5 record out of the Colonial Athletic Association.

Richardson and Armstrong both played integral parts in University’s 10-2 season this past year as the Hawks advanced to the quarterfinal round of the playoffs, falling to Capital.
