Kennedy winner Chazzy Thomas to Fairmont State

Morgantown senior running back Chazzy Thomas, the state’s Kennedy Award winner, will play football next season at Fairmont State.

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — Morgantown running back Chazzy Thomas will sign to play for Fairmont State at the D-II level. The 2013 Kennedy Award winner verbally committed to the Falcons and head coach Jason Woodman earlier this week.

Thomas finished this past season with 2,108 rushing yards and 30 touchdowns on 174 carries. He chose Fairmont State over the University of Charleston and a preferred walk-on opportunity with WVU.
