House member taken from state capitol to hospital

CHARLESTON, W.Va. — Putnam County Delegate Brady Paxton was taken to a Charleston hospital Monday afternoon following the House floor session.

House of Delegates Communications Director Stacey Ruckle said Del. Paxton wasn’t feeling well and a doctor and nurse at the capitol recommended an ambulance be called.

Paxton was conscious. There’s no word on his condition.
