Boys basketball MetroNews Power Index: Week 8

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — Woodrow Wilson (17-4) moves up from No. 9 to No. 4 overall in week eight of the MetroNews Power Index for boys high school basketball.

Washington (20-0) stays as the top ranked team in the state, followed by South Charleston (19-1), George Washington (17-4), Woodrow Wilson and then Hedgesville (15-4) at No. 5.

Robert C. Byrd (18-0) is the highest Class AA team ranked at No. 6, while St. Joseph Central (17-2) is the highest Class A team, coming in at No. 29 overall.

The MetroNews Power Index is a computer based formula that factors in strength of schedule. Records listed are for games played through Tuesday, February 25th.
