MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — View Rachel Shoaf’s second-degree murder sentencing hearing in its entirety from Monongalia County Circuit Court.
Shoaf, 17, one of two teenage girls who confessed to the 2012 stabbing death of University High student Skylar Neese, was sentenced to 30 years in prison Wednesday. She’ll be eligible for parole in 10 years.
Her cohort Shelia Eddy, 18, who last month pleaded guilty to first-degree murder and was sentenced to life in prison, will be parole-eligible in 15 years.
