One killed in Harrison County plane crash

LUMBERPORT, W.Va. — Officials with the Federal Aviation Administration are investigating the Saturday plane crash that killed one person in Harrison County.

The plane, a Beechcraft BE-33, went down shortly after 12 p.m. on Saturday in the Lumberport area.

The pilot, who was not being publicly identified on Sunday, was killed.  Emergency officials said that pilot was the only person on board.

Those with the National Transportation Safety Board are also involved in the investigation.
