Philadelphia flights being added at Charleston’s Yeager Airport

CHARLESTON, W.Va. — A trip to the City of Brotherly Love will soon be easier for some West Virginians.  American Airlines and US Airways announced the new service on Thursday.

New non-stop flights to and from Charleston’s Yeager Airport (CRW) and Philadelphia International Airport (PHL) will be an option for travelers beginning on June 5.

Those flights, run through Piedmont Airlines with a Bombardier Dash 8 aircraft, will operate on the following schedule every day except Saturday:

US4351  Depart PHL 3:25 p.m.  Arrive CRW 5:13 p.m.

US4350  Depart CRW 1:00 p.m.  Arrive PHL 2:46 p.m.

In addition to the Charleston flights, the merged company will also be adding new routes from Philadelphia International Airport to Blue Grass Airport in Lexington, Ky. (LEX) and Memphis International Airport in Tennessee (MEM).
