Canty named 3rd Team All-Conference

IRVING, TX—Redshirt Freshman Guard Kareem Canty has been named to the All-Conference USA third team.

Canty was the only member of the Thundering Herd to receive postseason honors. Canty is averaging 16.4 points a game and 5.7 assists per game. Canty was named C-USA Freshman of the Week three consecutive weeks in December.

With a 22-point performance against Charlotte (March 6) to close out the regular season, Canty eclipsed the 500-point mark. Canty became just the 39th player in Marshall history to reach the 500 point plateau.

The Herd will begin postseason play against Florida Atlantic on Tuesday at 8 p.m. (ET) at the Don Haskins Center.
