Powerball ticket worth $2 million sold in West Virginia

CHARLESTON, W.Va. — There was no big winner in Saturday’s Powerball drawing, but those with Powerball said a ticket worth $2 million was sold in West Virginia.

The holder of that ticket matched five numbers and purchased the Power Play option which doubled the prize.

The winning Powerball numbers for Saturday’s drawing were 02-05-34-51-58, Powerball 9, Power Play 4.

It was not immediately clear where in the Mountain State that $2 million ticket was sold.

Winning $1 million Powerball tickets were also sold in Florida, Pennsylvania and North Carolina.

The Powerball jackpot will grow to $80 million for Wednesday’s drawing.

Meanwhile, for Tuesday’s drawing, the MegaMillions jackpot stands at $400 million — the third largest jackpot in the game’s history.
