So impressed by the class hurricane showed in defeat. I think that is why most of the State got behind their Cinderella run. Hurricane made a very improbable run by staying humble and working beyond exhaustion. very proud of my son, Ace Estep, who tweeted the next morning "Just woke up and still hurting after losing the state Champion but it is Sunday and time to go Thank God for being there."
    Couldn't ask for more.

so all of those who doubt Huntington sports teams, football runner up, basketball champ, wrestling champs, our tennis is great, baseball will be better, softball is coming back finally after down years after having arguably two of the best teams the state has seen in 2007 and 2008, football will be back again with the addition of Donta Hendricks and fred Hightower, to go with a great team anyway. Wow what a year so far!!!! Nicks is the best athlete in the state, hands down, and the thing is he will probably play football in college after only playing one year since the 8th grade! Go HHS!!!!
