Huntington shooting death under investigation

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. — A shooting death in Huntington Wednesday night may have been the result of an accident.

Police said Thursday Stephen Lawrence, 22, of Huntington, was shot once in the chest at a house on Latulle Ave. Investigators said Lawrence had been drinking with two other people and his gun was being passed around when it discharged. He died at the scene.
