Rahall-Jenkins at Huntington High Wednesday

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. — Seniors at Huntington High School will have an opportunity to ask questions of candidates involved in a high-profile congressional race Wednesday morning.

The seniors in the Civics class and Advanced Placement Government class will host West Virginia Third District Congressman Nick Rahall and his primary election challenger Richard Ojeda along with Cabell County state Senator Evan Jenkins.

Most political prognosticators believe it will be Rahall and Jenkins matching-up in the fall election which has already attracted thousands of dollars of political advertisements.

The students have prepared their own questions. The local League of Women Voters is also involved in the event.

The question and answers are scheduled to begin at 9:15 Wednesday morning.
