Man sentenced for killing cats

FAYETTEVILLE, W.Va. — A Fayette County man is going to prison for putting several live cats into a box and throwing them into a fire.

Michael Ford, 56, of Hico, was sentenced to 3 to 15 years in prison Tuesday.

The incident—that killed three kittens happened last fall.

Ford pleaded guilty earlier this year.
