Question spray painted on building where Marshall student died

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. — The Huntington apartment building where the murdered body of a Marshall University student was found in 2007 was the site of vandalism Wednesday night.

Someone spray painted “Who Killed Leah Hickman?” on the 8th Ave. apartment building. Hickman’s body was found in a crawl space under the building in Dec. 2007. No one has been arrested in connection with her death.

Leah’s father, Ron Hickman, told WSAZ.com, there’s nothing new in the investigation. He said he appreciates someone remembering the case but vandalism isn’t the right way to do it.

Hickman was 21 when she was killed. Police have said they believe she knew her killer.
