WATCH: Highlights and reaction to WVU’s walkoff win vs. K-State

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — At the end of a thrilling afternoon of baseball, West Virginia coach Randy Mazey couldn’t blame his players for storming out of the dugout.

Down two runs in the bottom of the ninth, the Mountaineers rallied for a 6-5 series-clinching win over Kansas State.

“In this game, in college baseball, you kind of live for dogpiles,” Mazey said. “That’s the second time this year we’ve had a chance to do that. Hopefully we’ll have a few more down the road.”

Watch more of Mazey’s postgame reaction above, along with second baseman Billy Fleming (who drove in the winning run) and John Means (who outlasted early trouble to pitch 6 2/3 innings.)
