State to kick off child immunizations week

CHARLESTON, W.Va. — This week marks the 20th anniversary of National Infant Immunization Week and the state Division of Immunization Services has a news conference scheduled Monday in Charleston.

The event will focus on the importance of infant immunizations and raise awareness on the prevention aspect of vaccinations.

The news conference is set for 10 a.m. Sacred Heart Early Learning Center in Charleston.
