WATCH: Mazey, players react to WVU’s winning weekend

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — After sweeping Kansas State this weekend, West Virginia has returned to .500 in the Big 12.

Coach Randy Mazey reflected on Sunday’s 6-1 victory over the Wildcats, which was his team’s sixth straight and put WVU in the middle of the conference standings. The Mountaineers (24-16, 7-7) are sixth in the league, and stand even with Texas (32-12, 10-7) and Texas Tech (35-13, 11-7) in the loss column. The Longhorns visit Hawley Field next weekend.

There’s also postgame reaction from winning pitcher Ross Vance, who’s now 3-0 in three starts, and first baseman Ryan McBroom, who played a big part in West Virginia’s four-run sixth.
