Body found in Ohio River near Chester identified

CHESTER, W.Va. — The Hancock County Sheriff’s Office announced Monday the state Medical Examiner’s Office had  identified the body of a woman found floating in the Ohio River at Chester earlier this month.

Investigators said Sharone Nakoa, 32, of Monaca, Pa., was first reported missing Feb. 19 by Monaca police.

The investigation into Nakoa’s death continues.
