BUD MOUNTAIN, W.Va. — Wyoming County Prosecutor Mike Cochran said a positive identification has been made on human remains found recently in a shallow grave in his county.
Cochran said Theresa Ford, 38, of Matoaka, had been missing since last year. Her body was found on the property of 44-year-old Oscar Combs, Sr. in the Bud Mountain area. No charges have been filed.
Combs and his son have been charged in a separate death case. They allegedly killed Summers County resident James Butler. His body was found near the Wyoming-Mercer County line in April 2011.
