Man killed in motorcycle crash

SCOTT DEPOT, W.Va. — A Jackson County man died Thursday evening following a motorcycle crash in Putnam County.

Sheriff’s deputies said a bike being operated by Gary Grim, 52, of Evans, slammed into a minivan on South Poplar Fork just after 6 p.m.

Deputies said the driver of the minivan was making a turn onto Fletcher Road when the Grim lost control, crossed the line and struck him. Grim died at CAMC Teays Valley.
