Man arrested after Braxton County crime spree

FLATWOODS, W.Va. — A Braxton County man is in jail after allegedly going on a crime spree early Saturday morning.

James David Maciak, 27, of Napier, is in the Central Regional Jail after allegedly breaking into two homes, stealing things inside the homes and taking a pair of vehicles. Troopers said there were four victims in the overnight crime spree that took place in and around the Flatwoods area.

Maciak was being held in the regional jail without bail at midday Saturday.
