Crash claims life on U.S. Route 60 in Huntington

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. — A Putnam County man was killed in a five-vehicle crash Monday morning on U.S. Route 60 in Huntington.

Police said a moving truck and four cars collided near Washington Boulevard at about 7:30 a.m. They said Russell Franklin Wills, 42, of Hurricane, died at the scene and three others were injured.

U.S. Route 60 was closed for approximately four hours.
