how many fans usually come to the game? full stadium? scouts?

  • Carl

Wheres the Parkersburg South love? lol

  • Jones

Riverside kicker not on the team or runningback bad season but standouts wow

  • ThatGuyOverThere

When I was selected in 2001, I declined the invitation as I was leaving for Basic Military Training two weeks after the game...It is not all that uncommon for athletes to skip the game.

  • KX

AAA Sacks/Tackles leader not on roster.

  • Upset Fan

Roane County had a couple of standouts, but are not here??? WOW!

    • Big Poppy

Yes Tyler King/WR and Luke Scott/RB from Roane made the team and both are going on to play college ball @ Div. II Level

    • b

I think Luke Scott, and Tyler King from Roane County were added to the North team

  • guarddog

Only 1 single A player on the North Squad.

  • T

Maybe they look at character as part of the selection!

  • What the???

    Martinsburg-1 ?????

It is pretty evident this North coach doesn't have a clue...Congrats South squad on your win

  • WV North-South Football Classic

Some players declined the invitation to play in our game due to previous plans.

  • BS

how does 4 time defending state champs MHS have only 1 player selected!

    • chuck

4 time defending state champs continue to get no love. Really one player? And no coaches from that squad too? And I highly doubt they declined their invitation

  • James

How does Malik Watkins not make the team, Kennedy award runner up, and mvp of the triple A state championship game, all I can is wow

  • AC

Thanks for the info. Did not know how the selection process was conducted. Good Luck, Go Bears.

  • WV North-South Football Classic

The head coach of the North and South each select their rosters based on the nominations they receive from head football coaches across the state.

  • AC

Ritchie County's 2-way standout, Alex Lipscomb not included on the roster. Shaking my head.

    • Robb

AC ask Ritchie's coach who he submitted answer no one

    • Robb

There were several schools who did not submit any players names and several others who didn't include players that they thought May be a problem.
