Man charged for allegedly making threats on senator’s office

HOLDEN, W.Va. — State Police arrested a Logan County man Thursday after he allegedly made threats to those working in the Washington, D.C. office of U.S. Senator Jay Rockefeller.

Troopers said Alan Anderson, 55, of Holden, called the senator’s office at about 12:30 p.m. and threatened to shoot 10 to 12 people.

Anderson was taken into custody at his home without incident. He was charged with making terroristic threats.
