WVU-Towson kickoff slated for 7:30 p.m. kickoff on Root

Towson, the national runner-up in the FCS last season, will visit West Virginia on Sept. 6 for a 7:30 p.m. kickoff on Root Sports.

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — West Virginia’s Sept. 6 football game against FCS member Towson will be a prime-time event even though it’s not necessarily featuring a prime-time opponent.

Kickoff is slated for 7:30 p.m. Eastern on Root Sports television.

That makes three verified start times for the Mountaineers in 2014. They open the season by facing Alabama at 3:30 p.m. on Aug. 30 in the Georgia Dome (ABC or ESPN2) and are slated to meet Kansas State on Thursday, Nov. 20 at 7 p.m. (FoxSports1).
