Violent robbery reported in Berkeley County

INWOOD, W.Va. — State Police are looking for two men who entered a home in Berkeley County Thursday morning and attacked the man and woman living there.

Troopers said the home invasion and robbery happened on Shickle Lane in Inwood at about 1 a.m. Thursday.

The residents told troopers one man had a tire iron and the other had what appeared to be a hatchet. They attacked the residents and then took money.

The victims are being treated at the Berkeley Medical Center.

State Police described the suspects as being in their 20s and wearing dark colored hooded sweatshirts.
