Two dead in separate Huntington shootings

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. —Two separate investigations are underway in Huntington after two people were gunned down in unrelated incidents Monday night.

Police said the first happened on 8th Ave. around 10 p.m. when a man was shot in the face. There are no suspects in custody.

Meanwhile, police are also investigating a shooting that claimed the life of a teenager. Investigators said 19-year-old Garrett Ray Hatten was gunned down during an argument.

The crime happened around 11 p.m. on Jackson Ave. There is a possible suspect in that case.
