SUMMERSVILLE, W. Va. — Officials believe a body found in Summersville Lake may be the one they have been searching for since June 26.

The West Virginia Division of Natural Resources Law Enforcement Section announced Monday a body was located at around 1:30 p.m.

It is believed to be the remains of the boater who went missing. However, the identification will not be official until it is conducted by the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Charleston.
