Police investigating Elkview bank robbery

ELKVIEW, W.Va. — Kanawha County sheriff’s deputies were called to the scene of a bank robbery Monday afternoon in Elkview.

Police said a man robbed the Poca Valley Bank branch.

There were no injuries, but the suspect got away with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The suspect was a white male, 5’7″ to 5’9″ tall, 145-160 pounds, and was wearing a blue sweatshirt, camouflage gloves, and an olive drab colored hunting mask.
